Welcome to Demo Brewing Company, a cozy neighborhood spot tucked just off Ravenswood Avenue in Chicago’s Malt Row. We’re a small-but-mighty nano brewery run by a husband-and-wife duo who love experimenting with new recipes and pouring beers for our community of regulars, friends, and first-timers alike.

Our Philosophy

At Demo, we think of beer the same way musicians think of demo tapes, a place to play, explore, and share ideas. We're always brewing small-batch, ever-changing beers and seltzers, so there's usually something new on tap every time you visit. Our goal is to make great drinks, keep things interesting, and create a welcoming space where everyone feels at home.

Our Story

Demo started the way a lot of great ideas do, over beers and big dreams. Jeff started homebrewing in our small Chicago condo in 2013, and by 2017, the idea for Demo Brewing started taking shape. A few years, a few spreadsheets, and a few hundred test batches later, we opened our garage doors to the public in 2024. We still brew everything right here on-site, and while you might spot us tinkering with tanks or grabbing a shift behind the bar, it’s our incredible staff who bring the taproom to life. They're friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to help you find a new favorite beer (or just chat about your dog, weekend plans, or where to grab food nearby).

What We Brew

We keep things simple but thoughtful. Whether you're into crisp lagers, juicy IPAs, smooth stouts, or house-brewed hard seltzers, we like to mix it up and keep the lineup fresh. The taproom is relaxed and unpretentious, think garage hangout meets cozy community bar with board games, hanging plants, and chill tunes always in the mix.
